PHILOSOPHY . . .
The Ray Holley
Group’s goal in providing value-oriented search services is to allow
the client to save a significant portion of their recruiting
budget. This is
accomplished by working with the client on an hourly basis, not
unlike an accountant or an attorney. Using this business model,
the client saves a significant portion of their budget allocated to
recruiting which can be used elsewhere within the company. One of Ray’s clients has
saved over $2,000,000 in search fees. Billing the client by the
hour eliminates exorbitant percentage-based fees charged by
contingency recruiters.
It also eliminates the large, up-front fees that retainer
firms demand before the client sees results. Also eliminated is the need
to pay individual fees for each search, since multiple searches can
be worked on at once.

Choice
#1 . . . Billable Hours. By choosing this option, you
pay only a reasonable hourly rate for my actual time working on your
key positions. Billable
hours can include any or all the following activities
depending on your needs:
·
consultation
and follow-up with client about the search
project
·
research
(target company list development and candidate
identification)
·
recruitment
pitch development
·
contacting
potential candidates through the direct approach method; fielding
and qualifying all responses
·
interviewing
qualified and/or interested candidates to determine who is both
·
presentation
of qualified and interested candidates to
client
·
assistance
in setting up all interviews with client, briefing and debriefing
both client and candidates post-interviews
·
reference
checking
·
assistance
with offer presentations, acceptance, and transition.
·
Travel
time during the course of a search, if necessary, is considered
billable hours in addition to actual expenses for travel and
accommodations incurred and must be approved in advance by the
client.
Billable
hours are invoiced on a regular basis and invoices are due upon
receipt.
Choice
#2 . . . Flat-Fee Arrangement. Searches can also be
undertaken on a pre-arranged Flat-Fee basis. Negotiated fixed fees are
based on the complexity and level of your search along with the
estimated length of time it will take to complete the search.
Fixed-fees
arrangements are billed 50% up-front and 50% upon completion.
Choice
#3 . . . “On-Call” Recruitment Process Outsourcing
(RPO). This choice
offers a flexible approach to your recruitment efforts. Under this arrangement, I
act as an “on-call” extension of your HR Department. HR can call me at any time
to help with any aspect of the recruitment process. For example, under this
arrangement, I could be called on to screen resumes and interview
promising candidates from an ad that HR posted where the department
is short-staffed or overworked and can’t get to them in a timely
manner. At other times,
I could be called upon to source targeted candidates for your
internal staff to interview.
Often, I’m called to do thorough reference checking on
promising candidates.
Any part of your internal recruitment process can be
off-loaded to me in a timely and cost-effective manner.
